CONFORMAL COOLING CHANNELS

DIMLASER® develops parallel and surface conformal cooling channels providing:

  • Optimised cooling channel design with targeted local change in temperature
  • Elimination of dead flow zones → no heating of cooling water → dynamic and uniform cooling
  • Cooling within 2-3mm of the mould contour surface

HYBRID BUILD


Technology of the hybrid construction method combines the processes of CNC and AM allowing:


    • The AM part with the conformal cooling channels is directly “built onto” a basic body made by CNC.

    • This hybrid type of construction has proven to be the fastest and most economical solution in many cases.
